Brophy was approached to work on Barbour International's first brand presentation at the AW'17 London Fashion Week Men's show. Inspired by Steve McQueen and his passion for trail racing, he created two scenic paintings, each 10m wide by 3m high. The mixed media paintings became the backdrop for the collection presentation.
An original 1950's trail motorbike was used in the mark making process. Brophy would ride through slack, wet mud combined with coloured pigment before riding over the canvas to transfer the medium.
